About Us
Our Philosophy
Our work combines ecological design principles, practical growing experience, traditional land stewardship wisdom, and modern regenerative practices to create landscapes that become more productive and resilient over time.
Rather than imposing a design onto the land, we observe, understand, and work with the natural patterns already present on the site.

Our Ethics
Three principles guide everything we design

Testimonials
Kind words from our community
Land stewards, farm visitors, and collaborators share what it felt like to work with — and within — these living systems.
Design Client
Samiksha introduced our land-based community in Karjat to permaculture, and hand-held us in understanding and shaping our newly procured farmland, diligently over three seasons. I remain grateful for her diligent approach to the assignment, work ethic, and her nurturing.
Farm Visitor
It was an absolute delight to visit the Mrittika regenerative farm and witness permaculture principles in action. My stay at the farm gave me clarity that permaculture is not based on reductionist and siloed theories, but on a practical, holistic understanding of the play of variables in Nature. Observing an environment where Nature is revered and allowed its expression with minimal human intervention was exceptional. True to its name, this regenerative farm did more than just heal the land — it regenerated a part of my being. Calling this farm “heaven” would be an understatement.
Collaborator
Samiksha is a creative who can also work against deadlines and deliver. She is an artist who can apply practical, real-world experience to deliver insight. Easy, breezy communication and great at integrating with the team on the get-go.
Farm Visitor
I visited Mrittika Farm in 2021 and was amazed how learnings from permaculture and regenerative living were implemented with immense care and effort. I could see Samiksha and the team designed every farm element keeping local climatic conditions and the smallest details in mind.
Workshop Participant
It was refreshing to meet Samiksha and understand her journey and why she is doing what she is doing. Taking our group for a jungle walk to introduce us to the local flora, picking up a weed here or a flower there, making a bouquet out of it, cooking up recipes pronto… it was such a fun way to learn!
